If anyone is thinking of stepping to Carlton Banks in a dance battle, they may want to blow the dust off their old You Got Served dvd for review because he’s still on his ‘A’ game! You probably don’t watch Dancing with the Stars — an acceptable brand of neglect — but Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Will Smith’s preppy cousin on the 90’s hit sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, served up some nostalgia worth tuning in for Monday night.
The actor pulled out the big guns when he and his partner Witney Carson incorporated his signature dance “The Carlton” into their performance on the reality competition. & yes it’s still as awesome as it ever was!
“I love ‘The Carlton’ dance now, I love how it makes people feel,” the 43-year-old said. The sentiment was clearly shared by all as the duo earned 10s across the board from the judges and American fans alike, the only perfect score of the evening.
Now tell me that trip down ‘My Awesome Childhood Lane’ didn’t put a big-ass ridiculous kool-aid smile on your face!
